Hello all staff at the Elizabeth Animal Hospital, I cannot begin to thank you for your compassion and skill regarding my dog Katie, who needed extensive dental surgery with a concern that her heart may not make it. You all took every precaution and made my wife and I feel like Katie was the only client you have. More than that, thank you for being people. So many other veterinary establishments have made us feel unappreciated and talked down to us. All of your staff are compassionate and simply wonderful people. We felt as though everyone involved truly cared for our dogs as we do. I believe that is the highest quality in a pet health care provider. Second to that, your prices are reasonable. I am not one to choose based on price alone, and your staff won us over and the reasonable prices that included everything we could need or want was the icing on the cake. We are switching over to your facility for all of our pets needs. Thank You from the bottom of our hearts for being such caring people.

Hello to all – I wanted to take the time to let you know how much Tim and I appreciated the care you gave our dogs for all the years we lived in Elizabeth. It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that I wanted you to know that Spike passed away Sept. 8. The whole experience for him and us was terrible. He had to be put down by someone he did not know or care about. It made me think of all of you and how special you make each animal feel. You are a wonderful group of people. God Bless All. Words cannot express the gratitude I feel toward all of you for saving Elmer's life. At least 2 or 3 times. He is now a happy dog and can play and cause trouble just like Hank. For this I am very grateful. Thank you for not giving up on him; he was well worth it!

Dear Dr. Morris, We wanted to give you a heart-felt thank you for the work you did on both of Salem's hind legs. It has been a while -- over a year -- and she is doing great. She now enjoys leisurely walks, swimming, playing, and jumping up on the couch, Before her surgery she was in a lot of pain and could hardly walk a block. You really improved her quality of life. I remember you saying she reminded you of one of your old dogs named Maude and I wanted to share this current picture with you. Thank you so much!

Dr. Leon Anderson and the staff at Elizabeth Animal Hospital (EAH) have been taking care of my Sadie for ten years, which of course means they have been taking care of me for ten years! Sadie is my twelve-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix, and we have always received the best veterinary care at EAH. While we have been very lucky and Sadie's health has been excellent, she is now in her twilight days and is combating degenerative myelopathy. As she and I are learning to make the necessary lifestyle adjustments, the EAH team is right there with us, ensuring we have everything we need, from the correct medication and professional guidance, to a strong shoulder when the times get rough. Over the years, Leon has always gone beyond what is expected to provide the "personal touch" to veterinary service and I consider EAH a part of my extended family. Thanks for everything!

Emma is our 6 year old chocolate Lab with typical Lab DNA, which means she loves to retrieve. We recently moved to the country where she has plenty of room to roam. Late last summer we started to notice a limp in her back leg when she would finish playing. The pain she experienced while running was masked by her desire to retrieve. At first we thought it was a sprain and after giving her plenty of time to rest we thought it would heal itself. Unfortunately, it did not.

We scheduled an appointment with Dr. Chris Morris at Elizabeth Animal Hospital where Emma goes for regular check ups. Our fears were realized when he confirmed a meniscal tear. We had heard about the TPLO procedure because it was performed on a relative's Lab. We were disappointed because of the cost and recovery time of the procedure, but if that is what it would take to get Emma better we were all for it.

Dr. Morris suggested there might be another solution to fix Emma's knee. He informed us of a new technique called Tightrope CCL repair that resulted in shorter recovery time and a more stable knee after the procedure. Dr. Morris performed the procedure on October 31, 2008, and Emma has recovered amazingly well. We are so thankful that she is able to enjoy her life again.
